Rules & Guidelines
1. Eligibility
- Open to students in three categories:
- Grades 1-3 & Grades 4-6
2. Registration
- All participants must register in advance using the provided link.
- Registration deadline is September 4th
3. Theme
- The drawing topic will be shared in advance on September 5th.
- Actual artwork must be created on-site at the Cupertino Senior Center during the event.
4. Materials
- Only color pencils are allowed for coloring.
- Participants must bring their own pencils, erasers, sharpeners, and other basic supplies.
- Drawing paper will be provided by the organizers.
5. Time Limit
- Participants must complete their artwork within the allotted time announced at the event.
- Late submissions will not be accepted.
6. Originality
- All work must be the participant’s own creation.
- Tracing, copying, or pre-drawn outlines are not allowed.
7. Judging
- Artworks will be judged by a panel of renowned artists .
- Judging criteria include:
- Creativity & originality
- Relevance to the theme
- Use of color pencils
- Overall presentation
- The judges’ decision will be final.
8. Awards
- Two winners will be selected from each category.
- Winners will be announced at 2:00 p.m. and awarded prizes.
9. Conduct
- Participants must behave respectfully toward other contestants and event staff.
- Disruptive behavior may result in disqualification.
10. Media Consent
- Photos and videos may be taken during the event for promotional purposes. By participating, entrants (and their guardians) agree to the use of such media.
