Drawing & Coloring Competition
Our drawing competition is the perfect chance for you to turn your imagination into amazing artwork!

Themes:
- My Dream Garden (Grades 1-3)
- The Underwater World (Grades 4-6)
- Future City of My Dreams (Grades 7-9)
Rules & Guidelines
1. Eligibility
- Open to students in three categories:
- Grades 1-3 & Grades 4-6 & Grades 7 - 9
2. Registration
- All participants must register in advance using the provided link.
- Registration deadline is September 4th
3. Themes
- Get ready for some creative fun! The drawing topics are grouped into different categories—so imagine, practice and prepare. On the big day, you’ll have one hour to bring your drawing and coloring to life and submit your masterpiece to our judges panel.
- My Dream Garden (Grades 1-3)
- The Underwater World (Grades 4-6)
- Future City of My Dreams (Grades 7-9)
- Actual artwork must be created on-site at the Cupertino Senior Center during the event.
4. Materials
- Only color pencils or crayons are allowed for coloring.
- Participants must bring their own pencils, erasers, sharpeners, and other basic supplies for coloring.
- Drawing paper will be provided by the organizers. Size will be 9"X12".
5. Time Limit
- Participants must complete their artwork within the allotted time announced at the event.
- Late submissions will not be accepted.
6. Originality
- All work must be the participant’s own creation.
- Tracing, copying, or pre-drawn outlines are not allowed.
7. Judging
- Artworks will be judged by a panel of renowned artists.
- Judging criteria include:
- Creativity & originality
- Relevance to the theme
- Use of colors
- Overall presentation
- The judges’ decision will be final.
8. Awards
- Two winners will be selected from each category.
- Winners will be announced at 2:00 p.m. and awarded prizes.
9. Conduct
- Participants must behave respectfully toward other contestants and event staff.
- Disruptive behavior may result in disqualification.
10. Media Consent
- Photos and videos may be taken during the event for promotional purposes. By participating, entrants (and their guardians) agree to the use of such media.
